MISSION AND VISION

Urban Minority Alcoholism Drug Abuse Outreach Project of Franklin County (UMADAOPFC) is a 501 ©(3) independent and multi-program prevention organization committed to promoting health and drug-free living among African American citizens in Franklin County. UMADAOPFC works with a host of community organizations, government agencies, policymakers, and others to help secure the health and welfare of African American communities. Through its extensive network of collaborative relationships, the agency continues to make substantial gains in its vision of creating healthy and drug-free African American communities.

 

 

Mission: To break the life cycle of drug and alcohol addiction in Franklin County’s underserved communities. In pursuit of this, we will create healthy neighborhoods through prevention, education, treatment and social change.

 

 

Vision: To break the stigma and cycles of drug and alcohol addiction among communities of color, thus allowing affected individuals to seek the care and treatment they need for optimum holistic wellness.
